Discover the HMUN project

HMUN Dubai (Harvard Model United Nations Dubai) is an academic United Nations simulation organised by the Harvard International Relations Council (HIRC) in collaboration with Worldview Education. It is the Harvard IRC's first and only Model UN conference in the Middle East.

The programme is open to high school students from all over the world and offers a high-profile learning experience that combines in-depth geopolitical study, multilateral dialogue and the development of diplomacy, public speaking and leadership skills.

Why take part in HMUN Dubai?

Taking part in HMUN Dubai means stepping into an international setting where students from all over the world work together to analyse and respond to the major global challenges. The conference is organised into thematic committees that tackle topics such as climate change, human rights, international security and sustainable development, with the aim of promoting shared solutions.

Alongside committee work, HMUN Dubai offers interactive workshops, plenary sessions and meetings with experts from politics, academia, diplomacy and business.

One of the conference's distinctive features is its strong international dimension: every edition welcomes hundreds of students from different countries and school systems.

HMUN Dubai encourages delegates to turn debate into concrete action.
