The IMEP project is a simulation of the European Parliament organized annually by European People since 2015. This simulation aims to provide secondary school and university students with a deeper understanding of the European Union and its processes decision-making . Learning about the EU is important for anyone who wants to understand the workings and dynamics of global politics , as the EU is a key player internationally.
Having a pro-European spirit means being aware of the importance of the EU and its institutions, as well as the value of unity and cooperation between European countries. The EU is founded on principles such as peace , democracy , the rule of law and human rights , and values such as solidarity and tolerance .
Taking part in a European Parliamentary Simulation like IMEP is a unique opportunity for students to put into practice what they have learned, acquire new skills and broaden their perspective . In a simulation environment, students can play the role of Members of the European Parliament, debate and vote on important EU issues, and experience how European politics works in practice. Furthermore, this experience represents an opportunity for students to interact with other young people from different countries and cultures, thus improving their ability to work in teams and communicate in a multilingual context .
A unique emotional training test for students, which allows them to develop useful skills for their professional and personal future, and to contribute to their growth as responsible and active European citizens .
