Terms of service
1. Association membership
Membership of the European People Foundation as a “Supporter” is obtained by registering on the website and paying an annual fee of €90.00.
Membership is not associative in nature and does not entail voting rights or any part in the Foundation’s statutory decisions.
2. Supporter’s contribution
The annual contribution entitles the supporter to access, for the whole calendar year, the training projects promoted by the European People Foundation or its partners, unless specifically stated otherwise.
3. Training
Training takes place entirely online, on the e-learning platform run by Exodus S.r.l.
Each participant will be given access to the learning materials, will be supported by a tutor and will attend weekly online sessions.
The materials include:

Papers on the history and structure of the United Nations and the European Institutions;

Rules of procedure for the UN and European Parliament simulations;

Documentation on the assigned committee and topic;

Guidelines for writing a Position Paper, which each student will prepare under the supervision of the staff.
The training course lasts approximately 25 hours.
4. Scholarships
The Foundation offers full scholarships to take part in its training projects.
The award procedures, criteria and amount covered are announced by the Foundation from time to time, after registration.
Scholarships are fully funded and may cover the entire cost of the project, unless otherwise stated.
5. Travel contribution
The travel contribution is a purpose-bound donation under Article 793 of the Italian Civil Code and is tied to participation in the selected project.
The contribution is non-refundable, except in documented cases of force majeure.
To be eligible for a refund in case of force majeure, it is mandatory to take out trip cancellation insurance when joining.
Without such a policy, no refund will be granted, even if participation subsequently becomes impossible.
6. Intellectual property
All materials published on the website and on the training platform are owned by the European People Foundation or used under licence from third parties; any unauthorized use is prohibited.
7. Privacy

8. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes take effect from the date of publication.
9. Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, unless otherwise provided by law.
