Want to understand how artificial intelligence is changing finance?
AI & Finance Week is European People’s international programme that offers students a training week in New York, in English, on financial markets, artificial intelligence and digital assets.

Together with your team:

You will manage a virtual fund, analysing companies, data and economic scenarios,
You will use artificial intelligence tools critically, learning to check what they produce,
You will discover how Bitcoin, blockchain and tokenisation work and the risks they carry,
You will present and defend your investment choices in English before a jury.

Why take part

With AI & Finance Week you will apply what you study to real situations: you will work with data, news and simulated scenarios, make decisions as a team and present your conclusions in English.

You don’t need to know finance already: the preparatory course introduces the key concepts before the more advanced activities.

The goal is to build financial literacy and critical thinking, together with the ability to use artificial intelligence responsibly.

How AI & Finance Week works

The programme combines a preparatory course and a training week in New York, with hands-on activities, simulations and meetings.

What you will learn

How shares, bonds, ETFs, stock exchanges and intermediaries work.
How to assess the risk, return and diversification of a portfolio.
How artificial intelligence is used in financial analysis, risk management and trading.
How to check AI-generated results and spot errors, bias, deepfakes and misleading news.
How Bitcoin, blockchain, stablecoins and asset tokenisation work.
How to present and defend an investment decision in English.

Simulations and labs

The 100 Million Dollar Challenge: each team manages a virtual fund and builds its own investment strategy.
AI Investment Lab: you use AI tools to analyse data, companies and news, and learn to check their results.
Digital Assets Lab: a lab on Bitcoin, blockchain, custody, risk and tokenisation.
Live Market Room: simulated news and market shocks that call for quick, well-reasoned decisions.
Final Investment Committee: each team presents its strategy and answers the jury’s questions.

You only invest virtual capital: no activity uses real money, and all of them are purely educational.

Visits in New York

The programme may include activities in the Financial District and visits to financial institutions, universities and companies. Every visit depends on the authorisation of the institution concerned, and we will only announce it as confirmed once they have accepted in writing.

New York Stock Exchange: proposed visit, subject to authorisation and availability.
Federal Reserve Bank of New York: visit requests can only be made in the 60 days before the visit and are subject to availability.
Federal Hall and an educational tour of the Financial District.
Meetings with universities, financial firms, fintech companies and professionals, depending on their availability.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. By choosing "Bank transfer" as payment method you can pay in 2 or 3 instalments, depending on the project.

How can I get a scholarship?

Until when can I register?

You will be able to register until the places are filled.

Is it necessary to have perfect English?

No. A good knowledge of English is recommended, but the preparation course helps students improve their skills.
