Refund policy
1. Association membership
The association membership fee of €90.00 is non-refundable.
This fee gives access to all the training projects promoted by the European People Foundation, subject to payment of the travel contribution stated on the page of each project.
2. Travel contribution (purpose-bound donation)
The travel contribution paid to take part in the Foundation’s projects is a purpose-bound donation (donazione modale) under Article 793 of the Italian Civil Code.
The contribution is non-refundable, except in documented cases of force majeure (e.g. serious health reasons, war, natural disasters or government restrictions).
In any case, to be eligible for a refund it is mandatory to take out trip cancellation insurance when registering for the project.
Without an active insurance policy, no refund will be granted, even in cases of force majeure.
Any refund will be handled exclusively under the terms of the insurance company chosen for the project.
3. How to request a refund
Requests must be sent to info@europeanpeople.org, stating the reason for the cancellation and attaching the supporting documentation for the force majeure event and a copy of the insurance policy.
The Foundation reserves the right to assess each request on a case-by-case basis and at its own discretion.
4. Voluntary withdrawal
If a participant withdraws for reasons other than force majeure covered by insurance, no refund will be granted.
5. Changes
This policy may be updated at any time. Changes take effect from the date they are published on the official website.
